How long have you been on the board?

I've been on the board since October 2023.

How did you first get involved with The Bone & Joint Journal?

My journey with The Bone & Joint Journal (BJJ) began in April 2021 when I received an invitation from the Director of Publishing, Emma Vodden, to review papers for both BJJ and the The Bone & Joint Open (BJO). Professor Haddad's recommendation opened this exciting chapter, and my first review, 'Enhanced Epiphyseal Fixation in Revision Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Comparison Between Porous and Titanium Augments', sparked a passion for contributing to this prestigious journal. Since then, I've completed 21 reviews for both BJJ and BJO, gaining valuable insights from the latest research and contributing to the journal's mission of excellence.

What is the best thing about being on the board?

Contributing to one of the world’s leading orthopaedic surgery journals and staying updated on advancements in education are the hallmarks of being on the board for me.

What one piece of advice would you give to others who might like to get more involved with The Bone & Joint Journal?

The Bone & Joint Journal provides a phenomenal platform for learning and contributing to the ever-evolving field of orthopaedic surgery. It's the perfect place for those who want to stay ahead of the curve.

What song is top of your operating room playlist?

Classical piano tunes and gamelan fill my operating room, providing a calming presence during surgery.
